Welcome to the site! A close friend (shout out Ashly Denison!) recommended that I document the massive home renovation project Andrew and I have decided to take on in Greensboro, NC. We have lived in Greensboro for about 8 years and we love it here. We purchased our current home 7 years ago and have spent that time slowly taking on smaller projects here and there updating it. It has given us some good experience. However, this new home, was built in 1985 and not much on the interior has been updated since. To put it into perspective, we were 3 years old when the house went up! I mean, we're 80s children at heart and have love for it but the thick pile carpeting in the Master Bath for instance? Yea, that's got to go!
We are excited, a little overwhelmed, and open to sharing all the ups and inevitable downs that comes along with a home renovation project. Especially one this size. I grew up in a home that had a similar Mediterranean exterior so this home pulls at my heart strings. Please feel free to leave thoughts, comments or ideas on any of the postings! We can't wait to make this Mediterranean Mess a Masterpiece!
